#GivingTuesday is an opportunity for people around the world to stand together in unity--to use their individual power of generosity to remain connected and heal. We all have gifts to give, and with social media, online giving, delivery, mail, and phones, there are limitless ways to use your generosity to support others.
In this time of uncertainty, there's a fundamental truth that gives us hope - that together we can do extraordinary things. Over the past year, the entire world has been coming together to stand up, help out, give back, and heal. Our rescue efforts have not stopped during this time - if anything we have seen an increase in fosters, adoptions, and offers to volunteer. We are still saving dogs and cats on deathrow and finding them amazing FURever families.
This holiday season, a HUGE step has been taken by Eleventh Hour Rescue - we have finalized the purchase of our own kennels & property, a big shift from leasing as we have done in the past. This new location is one of promise for a bright future for our rescue, and our capital campaign over the last 14 months to finance it has been one of Building Hope. The time has come to start the process of moving in, making the property our own, and we are excited to say that we are now BUILDING HOME!
So much needs to be done before our long term dogs can be moved from our current location and we can’t do this without you! Not only do we need your support, we need your help to spread the word. We are so grateful for your donation and would love it if you could tell your friends and family why you believe in our work and encourage them to support us too! This Giving Tuesday, we are hoping to hit our fundraising goal of $50,000, which can go a long way towards helping us move into our new home. We already have a donation match of $20,000 to get us started, too!!
