Unleash Generosity!
Meet Baby Stewie
One of the miraculous animals we’ve gotten to know in 2022 is Baby Stewie, a “micro bully” who was surrendered by his high-end breeder because of a leg injury. Customers pay breeders like these thousands of dollars for dogs with Stewie’s adorable look, but dogs with this breeding are also prone to major medical problems. When it became clear that Stewie, with his injury, wouldn’t command top dollar, the breeder wanted nothing to do with him.
So, Eleventh Hour Rescue stepped in, and it wasn’t long before Stewie won our hearts. With a torn ACL and luxating patella, Stewie has a long road ahead of him. His surgeries cost several thousands of dollars, and his physical therapy is thousands more. But through all his hardship and medical treatment, Stewie is a happy, adorable little gremlin who loves and wins over everyone he meets. To his breeder, Stewie was a liability; to us, he’s pure perfection.
